'Cause We Can
Bringing the comfort of home to our neighbours impacted by the fires.
When home feels far away or uncertain, wholesome, home-crafted food offers grounding, comfort, and care.
Navigating the road after a disaster takes time. 'Cause We Can!' brings our food bank, professional chefs,
and community volunteers together to batch, pressure-can, and deliver wholesome stews, soups, fruits, and
vegetables directly to our fire-impacted neighbours.
Canning is a timeless way of saving the harvest and looking out for one another. Packed with nutrition and care,
every jar provides a little piece of home, ready to enjoy immediately or save on the shelf for whenever it's needed.
Let's wrap our neighbours in care. Here's how you can join us:

DONATE $
Cash donations allow us to
purchase the essentials needed
to create jars of wholesome food. $25 puts 5 jars of nourishment onto a pantry shelf.

GIVE
Do you have extra Mason jars? A bumper crop of garden vegetables
or orchard fruits? Let’s turn that abundance into comfort for our neighbours!

VOLUNTEER
Join a kitchen shift! Work alongside local chefs to wash, chop, prep and pack care into every jar.
